PVSC PROGRAM
The global energy landscape is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the urgent need to mitigate climate change and transition towards renewable energy sources. In this context, the emergence of local photovoltaic (PV) production holds significant promise as a catalyst for sustainable development and economic growth. This presentation aims to explore the multifaceted impact of local PV production on both global and US markets, shedding light on its potential benefits and challenges.
By examining case studies, market trends, and policy frameworks, we will uncover the transformative potential of decentralized solar manufacturing in driving down costs, increasing energy access, and reducing carbon emissions. Furthermore, we will delve into the socio-economic implications of localized PV production, including job creation, industrial development, and energy resilience.
Drawing upon insights from industry experts, policymakers, and academic researchers, this presentation will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and obstacles associated with adopting localized PV production strategies. Ultimately, it seeks to inspire collaborative efforts and innovative solutions to accelerate the adoption of sustainable solar solutions, both globally and within the US market.
