The day will start with the opportunity to explore Pike Place Market. This is one of the most popular markets in Seattle and offers a wide variety of shops centered around a public farmers market located by the waterfront. It's also one of the oldest continuously operating markets in the entire country, so you'll be experiencing a bit of history during our visit. The market itself is built on a hill, so despite initial appearances, you can find several lower levels full of shops you can peruse, along with some delicious restaurants. We will try to include time to visit the gum wall and the first Starbucks location.

Then in the afternoon, we plan to enjoy the sites of Seattle from the water on an Argosy Harbor Cruise. During this 1-hour narrated cruise, you’ll see all the beauty and history of the Emerald City. From the skyline to the shipping port, there’s views and history for everyone.

The cruise will include live narration with facts and history of Seattle’s past and present, panoramic, and up-close views of the Seattle skyline, shipping port and sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound.

Note: Cruise route is approximate and can change based on each sailing’s weather patterns, vessel traffic, and other non-predictable factors, and based on our experienced captains’ discretion. Boarding begins about 20 minutes prior to departure and onboard seating is first-come, first-served.
