PVSC PROGRAM
GRADUATE STUDENT ASSISTANT
Graduate Student Assistants (GSAs) play a very important role at PVSC, assisting with conference publications, supporting oral session chairs, managing the poster sessions and helping attendees.
Being a GSA is a rewarding experience: you will work alongside many attendees and organizers and get to know the other students in the program. GSA coordinators try to take your interests into account when building the work schedule. GSAs are expected to work 15–20 hours over the week and be available for 5 of the 6 conference days.
What you receive
- Complimentary student conference registration
- A free ticket to the evening social event
How applicants are selected
Priority goes to students chosen as Best Student Presentation Award finalists. Other considerations include whether you are presenting (oral or poster), how long you will attend, your degree goal and year, and prior GSA experience.
We encourage all graduate students to apply, as we strive to support a diverse group with national and international representation.
