Abstracts

Can I submit my abstract after the deadline?

No, abstracts are not accepted after the submission deadline. However, a late-news submission is expected to open around March; information will be posted on the website.

Is the late-news abstract template the same as for the original submission?

Yes, please use the same templates.

Why don’t I see my abstract(s) in my account?

Abstracts only appear in the account they were submitted from. If you declined your presentation, your abstract submission is removed and you cannot submit a full manuscript; if you believe this was done in error, contact [email protected]. If you didn’t submit the abstract but will be presenting, contact [email protected] for more information.

Manuscripts

How do I upload my full manuscript?

In mid-April an additional step is added to the submission portal. Log in to the account the abstract was submitted from and click the edit button next to your original submission. If you don’t see an option to upload your manuscript, confirm that you selected ‘full manuscript’ as your preferred format and update it if needed. You may need to log out and back in to see the manuscript option after the change.

Can you clarify the full manuscript deadlines?

There are two. Authors submit a draft of their manuscript before the conference starts, since many attendees like to read it before seeing the presentation. A second deadline after the conference lets authors make edits based on feedback before the manuscript is included in the proceedings. See manuscript information for the dates.
