This year the PVSC is fully virtual. Your manuscript, copyright and presentation will all be uploaded via your Presentation Portal. The manuscript submission deadline is June 15, 2021 . While the PVSC is still following our No Paper-No Podium/No Podium-No Paper Rule, we understand the global pandemic has disrupted research. Thus, you are free to submit either a full conference proceeding (up to 8 pages) or a brief summary (1-2 pages) of you work. However, we still ask that you use either the Word or LaTeX templates given below.
Instructions
Step 1:
Prepare your manuscript. Your final submission must use either the PVSC 2021 MS Word template or the equivalent LATeX template (ZIP). For other unsupported word processing systems please follow the official manuscript guidelines (PDF).
Please remove all page numbers from your manuscript. There is an eight (8) page size limit on all submittals. Please follow the IEEE two-column format specified in the template or your submission will be rejected. Note: a new manuscript template is being used for PVSC 48 in 2021 and prior year templates are obsolete.
Step 2: Register for Conference
(You will need to register prior to completing the next steps.)
Step 3: Sign Copyright
Copyright transfer is required and can only be carried out electronically using your Presentation Portal.
Step 4: Upload Full Manuscript (All presenters, both oral and poster)
(Deadline June 15, 2021)
Go to your Presentation Portal and following the instructions provided.
Step 5: Prepare Poster or Oral Presentation

Step 6: Manuscript Revision
Between June 15 and mid-July, the submitted manuscripts will be reviewed for compliance to the new template. All authors will receive an email either confirming correct formatting or requesting changes to the manuscript. In the latter case please update the manuscript accordingly and resubmit through the conference system. Please also ensure that emails from ieee-pvsc.org are not blocked through spam filters.
Step 7: Manuscript Revision Deadline for Volume 1 of Proceedings
(Deadline August 10, 2021)
The proceedings will published via both the conference proceedings archive for registered attendees (http://www.pvsc-proceedings.org) and on IEEE Xplore.
