PVSC PROGRAM
This year, Minority Carriers dives into Leadership and Mentorship—from both sides of the table. Through a dynamic audience-and-panel discussion, we'll explore how to find mentors who truly "get you," how to build those relationships, and how to grow into the kind of mentor who lifts others. We'll talk honestly about what works, what doesn’t, and how to open more doors for people who might not always get the first invitation. Mentorship is often key to professional growth, but not everyone has the same starting point, especially in workplaces where support systems aren't automatic. Our panelists will explore how mentorship has shaped their paths, share experiences in cultivating mentor-mentee dynamics, and offer practical advice on building supportive networks.
We aim for the session to be relevant for people at all career stages, whether you are looking for mentors or want to become a more accessible and effective mentor yourself.
Minority Carriers aims to provide professional development guidance that reflects the intersectionality and nuance of the diversity within our field. This session is open for all PVSC attendees. Individuals who self-identify as underrepresented in the PV community (including people of color, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, individuals from underrepresented nationalities, first-generation students, socioeconomically disadvantaged groups, and individuals with disabilities) and their allies are strongly encouraged to attend. Panelists represent diverse career stages and sectors, from academia to industry. We hope to see you at this special lunch session!
Panelists:
