Greetings PVSC Students!

The PVSC has always been a very student-centered conference, and this year is no different. We want you to join us at the 42nd IEEE PVSC in New Orleans and we are making some significant changes to make it even easier for you to do so! By staying at the Hyatt Regency, which is where this year’s entire PVSC conference will be held, not only will you have the convenience of being where all the PVSC action is, you will also receive the following benefits:

• Special Low Rates for Students: A limited number of discounted rooms have been reserved at the Hyatt for our Student members at $169 a night. This means you could end up paying as little as $84.50/night to stay at the headquarter hotel with a roommate. So act soon and click HERE to book your room today!
• Complimentary Wi-Fi: All attendees staying at the Hyatt will have free Wi-Fi in their guestroom as well as throughout the entire hotel and convention area. This only applies to attendees that have booked their room within the PVSC room block at the Hyatt.
• Reduced Registration Fee: In addition to the hotel discounts, students will receive an additional $50 reduction in registration rate just for booking their room at the Hyatt. (See below for more info on how to receive an even bigger discount by becoming an IEEE Student Member!)
• The Graduate Student Assistant program to provide travel stipends for talented students who assist with the running of the conference
• Beat the Heat: New Orleans can be quite steamy in June so we are working hard to provide you with opportunities to stay cool! Don’t miss the delicious NOLA-themed food trucks that will be provided just outside the hotel, for budget-friendly meals during conference lunch breaks!
