Abstract
STC corrected-maximum power offset is crucial for improving correction accuracy. Temperature coefficients are the indispensable input parameters of correction procedures. In this paper, impact of errors in relative current temperature coefficient on offset of STC corrected-maximum power of photovoltaic modules using correction procedure 4 was investigated. It is found that the absolute offset of STC corrected-maximum power is increased as the errors in relative current temperature coefficient is increased from negative to positive. It is interesting that the variation of absolute offset of STC corrected-maximum power with respect to module temperature under 800 W/m2 is different from that under other irradiance conditions. This paper is helpful to provide guides for correctly implementing correction procedures to minimize the power offset.
